Baroness Harriet Harman has now published her September 2025 Report on Harassment at the Bar. She has also advised that members of the judiciary themselves bully barristers to a degree that is, effectively, completely unacceptable. Read The Times article below of 18 September 2025.
By analogy and anecdotally too many members of the judiciary are prone to issue judgments that conflict with the evidence before them. In other words, they cheat, albeit subtly. BUT - thus far - little or nothing can be done to obtain redress for this bullying/dishonesty in public office misconduct - as all judges have their judgments protected by their unimpeachable 'case management' prerogative. There is simply no mechanism to allow any independent investigation for misconduct garnered in the course of rendering a judgment.
